Latest Immigration New Zealand statistics show 305 applications from the United States since the programme was redesigned in April 2025, involving 924 people. That represents approximately 32% of all Active Investor Plus applications received during the period.

What Is New Zealand's Investor Visa?

New Zealand's principal residency pathway for international investors is the Active Investor Plus Visa.

It provides two investment categories:

• Growth – minimum NZ$5 million invested for at least three years.
• Balanced – minimum NZ$10 million invested for at least five years.
